“One thing is very obvious to 5,000 workers and their families in southwestern Ontario: They've lost good-paying manufacturing jobs over the last year.” According to Horwath since 2003, 18 000 manufacturing jobs in London and Southwestern Ontario have disappeared. Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Employment Dr. Eric Hoskins responded to Horwath by touting the Liberal government's record of job creation despite the current economic woes.
